Teammate will work assigned hours based on clinic needs during the listed clinic hours. As a  Medical Assistant/LPN , you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.    As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:   • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.   • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.   • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.   • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.   • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.   • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.   • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.  Pay Structure: For Medical Assistants the pay starts between $22-23/hr. For LPN the pay starts between $24.50-25.50/hr. Pay is determined by experience and qualifications of the position. Leaders may be willing to offer more with prior direct experience in the role. About This Location:  The family medicine clinic at Aurora Family Medicine, located within the Aurora Health Center at 4448 W. Loomis Rd., Suite 100, Greenfield, WI 53220, is a primary care practice that provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. The clinic serves as a first point of contact for preventive care, routine medical needs, chronic disease management, and coordination of specialty care Your feedback matters.  Every teammate’s voice is vital in shaping our culture and improving care. We value your insights and experiences because they help us grow stronger together.  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions   • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.   • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.   • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.   • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.   • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.   • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.   • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease.
