Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Tell me about a time you coached a team into a new way of working that they initially resisted.

What they are checking: Real coaching skill, earning buy-in through the team's own pain points rather than mandates.

Tell me about an operating model or governance framework you built that people actually kept using a year later.

What they are checking: Whether their frameworks stick in practice, which separates real enablement from slideware.

Tell me about a time a transformation effort you led lost momentum. How did you notice and what did you change?

What they are checking: Self-awareness about change fatigue and the ability to reset a program instead of pushing harder on what isn't working.

What would you do

Legal, Compliance and Cybersecurity want more gates on AI releases, and product teams say they are already too slow. How do you handle it?

What they are checking: Designing responsible AI governance that is proportionate to risk so it protects the business without stalling delivery.

An executive wants to skip validation to hit a demo date for a clinical-facing AI feature. What do you say?

What they are checking: Courage to push back on risk in a healthcare setting while offering a realistic path to the executive's goal.

How do you tailor coaching for a data science team versus a business team that is new to AI?

What they are checking: Ability to meet different audiences where they are instead of running one generic enablement program.

About the work

If you were asked to roll out an AI Development Lifecycle across product, engineering, data and business teams, where would you start?

What they are checking: Whether they assess current maturity first and build adoption in stages instead of announcing a framework and hoping.

How is delivering an AI product different from delivering a normal software product, and how should the lifecycle reflect that?

What they are checking: Understanding of evaluation, data dependency, model drift and nondeterminism that standard agile practices don't cover.

How would you measure whether the organization's AI delivery maturity is actually improving?

What they are checking: Choosing outcome measures like cycle time, defect escape and business value, not just counts of trainings or ceremonies.

What does responsible AI mean to you in day-to-day delivery, beyond a policy document?

What they are checking: Whether they can turn principles like fairness, transparency and human oversight into concrete steps in a team's workflow.
