Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

This role coordinates but doesn't touch equipment. How do you lead operations when someone else does the hands-on work?

What they are checking: Whether they are comfortable driving outcomes through coordination and respect the clear line on who operates equipment.

Tell me about a time you kept several teams and vendors on the same page during a busy period.

What they are checking: Whether they can keep visibility and cadence across many moving parts without things slipping.

Tell me about a time you found a compliance gap at a site. How did you get it closed?

What they are checking: Whether they follow through on compliance issues until they are actually fixed, not just reported.

What would you do

You're reviewing the BMS and EPMS dashboards and see a slow temperature rise in one data hall. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they spot trends early and drive follow-up with the right team before it becomes an incident.

A customer calls upset because they weren't notified about scheduled maintenance. How do you handle it?

What they are checking: Whether they take ownership of the communication gap and fix the process, not just apologize.

A vendor shows up for work that isn't on the schedule and has no approved MOP. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they enforce site governance calmly even when it causes friction or delay.

About the work

Walk me through how you'd own an RFC and MOP from request to completion.

What they are checking: Whether they understand change control in a mission-critical site, where a sloppy MOP can drop customer load.

How would you audit whether maintenance was actually done the way the work order says?

What they are checking: Whether they can check quality of execution with evidence rather than trusting a closed ticket.

How do you track impaired equipment and active incidents so nothing gets lost across shift changes?

What they are checking: Whether they keep reliable site status records that others can depend on around the clock.

Which performance measures would you report to show how a site is running?

What they are checking: Whether they understand what good facility performance looks like and can show it in numbers.
