Quality Technician

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ Position Summary The Quality Technician will inspect product according to specifications and standards.  Document non conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.  Responsibilities • Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements • Assist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues • Read and interpret the requirements of drawings. • Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method/equipment to be used for product acceptance. • Use inspection equipment (ID/OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance. • Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision. Experience and Skill Required • A minimum of 2 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting. • Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect to requirements with minimal supervision. • Able to lift 30lbs • Ability to support PPAP sample inspection. • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). • Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required.
