About your past

Tell me about a training program you built or rebuilt. What problem was it solving, and how did you know it worked?

What would you do

Operations leaders say they can't spare people for training because production is behind. How do you handle that?

How would you support training across multiple shifts so second and third shift aren't left behind?

About the work

How would you get a new production operator from day one to fully qualified as quickly and safely as possible?

What they are checking: Whether they understand structured on-the-job training, skills checks and certifications in a manufacturing setting.

How do you decide what should be classroom, what should be on the floor and what should be online?

What they are checking: Whether they match the method to the skill and the learner rather than defaulting to one format.

How would you measure the return on a training investment for senior leaders?

What they are checking: Whether they can speak the language of the business using metrics like defects, ramp time and retention.

What learning management systems have you worked with, and what did you wish they did better?

What they are checking: Whether they have practical system experience and think critically about the tools rather than just using them.
