What they are checking: Whether they communicate risk honestly instead of passing work they have not truly tested.

How do you work with operational end users to learn what they actually need tested?

What they are checking: Whether they include real users in testing so tools work in the operations center, not just in the lab.

This role is virtual but you need to be within driving distance of Fort Meade or Scott AFB. How does that work for you?

What they are checking: Whether they can meet the in-person requirement when the team needs them on site.

About the work

What they are checking: Whether they can turn requirements into test cases that cover data, display and integration.

How do you test that data coming into an ELK stack is complete and accurate?

What they are checking: Whether they think about ingestion, parsing and missing data rather than only checking the user interface.

What makes a data visualization trustworthy, and how would you test that a Kibana dashboard is showing the right numbers?

What they are checking: Whether they verify visuals against source data, since operators make decisions from these displays.

What is the difference between functional, integration and regression testing, and when do you use each?

What they are checking: Whether they choose the right kind of testing for the risk in front of them.

Have you automated any tests? What did you use and what did you choose not to automate?

What they are checking: Whether they know where automation pays off and where manual testing is still the better choice.
