Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Tell me about a landing page you built and improved over time. What moved the numbers?

What they are checking: Whether they test and iterate on digital assets rather than launching and forgetting them.

This role is remote. How do you stay connected with campaign managers and keep work moving?

What they are checking: Whether they communicate proactively and stay reliable without in-person check-ins.

Tell me about a time you were the operational backbone for a team. What did you do that others relied on?

What they are checking: Whether they take ownership of the unglamorous execution work that keeps demand generation running.

What would you do

A sales leader says marketing leads are poor quality. How do you respond?

What they are checking: Whether they use data to explore the complaint fairly and work with sales instead of getting defensive.

In a campaign strategy meeting, you think the plan relies too much on one channel. How do you raise it?

How would you decide what to test first when several campaigns are underperforming?

About the work

What they are checking: Whether they can design multi-step demand generation for a long, considered B2B purchase.

How does lead routing in Salesforce work in your experience, and what usually goes wrong?

What they are checking: Whether they have hands-on Salesforce experience supporting the lead flow, which the posting names.

What does good website analytics governance look like to you?

What they are checking: Whether they understand tagging, naming and tracking standards that keep reporting trustworthy.

How do you report campaign performance so leaders can make a decision from it?

What they are checking: Whether they turn data into clear recommendations rather than dumping raw numbers.
