Tell me about a quality improvement or program development project you worked on in diabetes care.

A patient on an injectable like a GLP-1 says they're skipping doses because of nausea. What do you do?

Staff on another unit keep calling you with the same questions about diabetes care. How do you respond?

About the work

Walk me through how you would teach a newly diagnosed type 2 patient to use a continuous glucose monitor.

What they are checking: Whether they understand pump therapy well enough to teach it safely within their scope.

How do you document a diabetes education visit in Epic so the rest of the care team can use it?

What they are checking: Whether their notes are clear and useful to providers, not just a record that the visit happened.

How would you explain carbohydrate counting to someone with low health literacy?

What they are checking: Whether they can simplify nutrition science so a patient leaves able to use it.
