Likely interview questions for this role
Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.
About your past

What they are checking: Whether they have a real system for tracking several programs, not just good intentions and a busy calendar.
Tell me about a time you wrote a status update for senior leaders. How did you decide what to leave out?
What they are checking: Whether they can boil detail down to what an executive needs to decide, without hiding the bad news.
Tell me about a time you took meeting notes and action items that people actually followed up on. What made them work?
What they are checking: Whether their administrative work drives action, since in program support the notes are the accountability system.
This job is fully on site, Monday to Friday, in a fast-growing manufacturing facility. What draws you to working in that kind of setting?
What they are checking: Whether they understand the pace and in-person nature of the role and actually want it.
What would you do
You are preparing a status report for a client and you notice the batch date slipped by two weeks since last month. Nobody told you why. What do you do before the report goes out?
What they are checking: Whether they chase the facts before reporting, so a client never learns about a delay from a surprise.
A scientist on the project team keeps missing the deadlines for their deliverables, and they are senior to you. How do you handle it?
What they are checking: Whether they can follow up firmly with people they have no authority over without damaging the working relationship.
The client emails you directly asking to add a new study to the scope this week. What is your next step?
What they are checking: Whether they know scope changes go through the program manager and change process, not a quick yes on email.
About the work
What do you know about how a contract development and manufacturing organization works, and how is it different from a drug company making its own products?
What they are checking: Whether they understand that the client owns the molecule and Catalent sells time, capacity and trust on deadlines.
How would you build and maintain a project schedule in a tool like MS Project or Smartsheet so it stays useful rather than stale?
What they are checking: Whether they treat a schedule as a living document with owners and dependencies, not a chart made once.
How do you track a project budget, and what would you do if you saw spending running ahead of the plan?
What they are checking: Whether they understand budget burn and raise an overrun early instead of waiting for month end to surface it.
