Key Accountabilities • Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions. • Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. • Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operate manual machines. • Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards. • Prepare and maintain quality records. Qualifications “Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a ‘U.S. Person’, which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.” • “This position is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position”. • Strong reliability – it is crucial that this person is able to work as scheduled in order to meet our customers’ requirements. • Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred. • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience. • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English. • Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. • Rotate between multiple machines, able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift. • Other duties as assigned.
