Tell me about your experience receiving, picking, packing or shipping in a warehouse or plant.

What does good attendance look like to you, and how did you do on attendance at your last job?
What they are checking: Honest track record on showing up, because one missed shift on a small crew puts shipments at risk.
What would you do
This role runs 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or 12-hour A/B days or nights on a 2-2-3. Which shift works for you, and how do you make long or overnight shifts work in your life?
What they are checking: Whether they have a realistic plan for the schedule, since attendance on rotating 12-hour shifts is where many new hires struggle.
You're doing a cycle count and the system says 40 pieces but you count 34. What do you do?
What they are checking: Whether they recount, report and help investigate a discrepancy rather than adjusting numbers to make it go away.
You're cross-trained across areas. How do you feel about being moved to a different job mid-shift when another area is short?
What they are checking: Flexibility and attitude toward cross-training, since coverage across the materials team depends on people willing to move.
About the work
Have you used a warehouse management system or RF scanner? What did you use it for?
What they are checking: Their comfort with scanning and data entry, since the WMS is how inventory stays accurate and orders get tracked.
How do you safely move a load with a pallet jack or hand truck when it's heavy or awkward, like long aluminum extrusions?
What they are checking: Basic safe handling habits and whether they think about the load and the path before moving it.
The posting mentions reading work instructions, blueprints and SOPs. How comfortable are you following written instructions with part numbers and measurements?
What they are checking: Whether they can work from written documents accurately, which keeps the wrong material from getting picked and shipped.
