Tell me about a time you mentored or coached a more junior engineer through a technical problem. What did you do differently than just giving them the answer?

How would you set up a test plan to qualify a new closure or dispensing mechanism for an aerosol or diffuser product? What would you actually measure and what would tell you it's ready to move forward?
What they are checking: depth of hands-on packaging test and qualification knowledge, not just process familiarity
Have you worked with DOT regulations around shipping dangerous goods, or with e-commerce packaging qualification? Walk me through a specific example.
What they are checking: whether preferred qualifications around DOT and e-commerce are real experience or resume keywords
How have you used AI tools in your engineering work, whether for data analysis, generating insights, or automating some part of your process? What did you check before trusting the output?
What they are checking: genuine, judgment-informed use of AI tools versus a vague or inflated claim
