About your past

Documentation and discharge paperwork have strict deadlines here. How do you keep up with notes when your day is full of sessions?

A patient tells you near the end of a session that they've been thinking about ending their life. What do you do?

A family member is angry at the treatment team and wants their adult child discharged today. How do you handle that call?

About the work

Rogers has inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care. How would your approach to a family session change across those levels?

What they are checking: Whether they understand how acuity and length of stay shape what a therapist can realistically do.

Explain the CBT model in plain language, the way you'd explain it to a patient's parent.

What they are checking: Whether they truly understand CBT well enough to teach it simply.

What's your understanding of how social services and discharge planning connect to a patient's recovery after they leave Rogers?

What they are checking: Whether they think about the patient's life after discharge, not just the time in treatment.

How do you write a progress note that's both clinically useful and respectful of the patient?

What they are checking: Whether they can document objectively, since patients and other clinicians may read what they write.
