How would you design a Microsoft Purview sensitivity labeling scheme that people actually apply correctly?

What they are checking: Whether they balance auto-labeling, user experience and policy so labels reflect real data sensitivity.

How do CASB and Zscaler controls fit together with Purview DLP in a hybrid cloud environment?

What they are checking: Architectural understanding of overlapping data protection layers and how to avoid gaps or duplicate alerts.

How would you get visibility into where sensitive client data lives across SaaS, cloud and on-premises systems?

What they are checking: Approach to data discovery and classification at scale, which underpins every other data protection control.

How do you measure whether a data protection program is reducing risk, not just generating alerts?

What they are checking: Whether they can define meaningful outcomes beyond alert counts for leadership and auditors.

How do you handle encryption key management when protecting data at the field or column level?

What they are checking: Depth on key ownership, rotation and access, where data-level encryption often fails in practice.
