Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Walk me through a product launch you led and how you worked with risk and compliance along the way.

What they are checking: Whether they bring control partners in early, which is essential for digital asset products at a regulated bank.

Tell me about a time a launch slipped. What did you do?

What they are checking: Whether they manage delays openly with stakeholders and keep the team focused on what still has to happen.

What would you do

Sales wants a feature a big prospect asked for, but it does not fit the product roadmap. How do you decide?

What they are checking: Whether they weigh one client's revenue against the broader strategy instead of building custom work by default.

Operations says they cannot support a new feature without more staff. How do you handle it?

What they are checking: Whether they treat operational readiness as part of the product, not something to sort out after launch.

How would you explain a blockchain-based service to a pension fund board that is skeptical of crypto?

What they are checking: Whether they can talk about digital assets in plain, risk-aware terms that conservative institutions trust.

About the work

How would you size the market for a new digital asset service for institutional clients?

What they are checking: Whether they can build a grounded market assessment rather than repeating hype about tokenization and crypto.

What makes digital asset custody different from traditional custody, from a client's point of view?

What they are checking: Whether they understand key management, settlement and legal questions that institutional clients worry about.

Tokenized money market funds are getting attention. How would you decide whether that belongs on the roadmap?

What they are checking: Whether they can judge a digital asset trend by client demand, regulation and operating model rather than novelty.

How do you measure the success of a digital asset product in its first year?

What they are checking: Whether they set realistic metrics for an early market, including adoption and learning, not just revenue.

What regulatory developments in digital assets are you watching most closely right now?

What they are checking: Whether they follow the regulatory changes that decide what a bank can actually offer in this space.
