Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Tell me about a social commerce channel you helped grow. What were the numbers before and after, and what did you personally drive?

What they are checking: Whether they can show real commercial ownership with figures, not just activity they were near.

You support a Senior Manager and work with finance, brand and e-commerce teams. Tell me about a time you had to get several teams moving on one plan.

What they are checking: Whether they can coordinate people they do not manage and keep a plan on track across functions.

Tell me about a time you spotted an optimization that others had missed. How did you get it approved?

What they are checking: Whether they act on insight and can build a case strong enough for a manager to say yes.

What would you do

Sales dropped fifteen percent week on week and nobody knows why. How do you find the cause?

What they are checking: Whether they diagnose systematically across traffic, conversion, pricing and stock before reacting.

A competitor runs a deep discount during a big campaign day. Our commercial guidelines limit how far we can match. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they find ways to compete on value and experience while staying inside agreed pricing rules.

How do you report weekly performance so a busy senior leader knows in one minute what happened and what we're doing about it?

What they are checking: Whether they can turn dashboards into a clear story with decisions, not a list of metrics.

What do you see as the biggest risk to running Dyson's shop on a platform we don't control, and how would you prepare for it?

What they are checking: Whether they think about platform policy, algorithm changes and dependence on one channel.

About the work

Walk me through how you would split effort across content, affiliates, livestream, media and shop conversion for Dyson Singapore's TikTok Shop.

What they are checking: Whether they see social commerce as connected levers and know which one moves revenue at each stage.

How do you pick and manage affiliates so they sell well without hurting a premium brand like Dyson?

What they are checking: Whether they can run an affiliate program with both performance discipline and brand guardrails.

What makes a livestream convert, and what would you change after a session that had good viewers but weak sales?

What they are checking: Whether they understand host, offer, pacing and product demo as the parts that turn viewers into buyers.

How would you decide where to put the next dollar of media spend between paid boosts on shop videos and affiliate commission?

What they are checking: Whether they think in return on spend and can compare channels with different cost structures.
