Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Tell me about a time you had to fill a large number of roles on a tight deadline.

What they are checking: Whether they have managed real volume and can describe how they kept quality from slipping.

Tell me about a talent pipeline you built that paid off months later.

What they are checking: Whether they plan ahead for future openings rather than starting from zero each time.

What would you do

A hiring manager on the client account keeps rejecting candidates without clear reasons. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they can push back with executive presence and get to a usable profile instead of just sending more resumes.

A strong candidate turns down your offer because a competitor paid more. How do you handle that?

What they are checking: Whether they negotiate thoughtfully and learn from losses instead of only blaming pay.

How do you present a hiring update to an account leadership team?

What they are checking: Whether they can report on progress and risks in a clear, client-ready way.

What do you tell a candidate about shift work and on-call duties in a data center before they interview?

What they are checking: Whether they set honest expectations so new hires do not quit in their first month.

About the work

Your focus would be high-volume skilled trades hiring for data centers. Where do you find electricians and HVAC technicians who aren't looking for a job?

What they are checking: Whether they know where tradespeople actually are, such as unions, trade schools and referrals, not just job boards.

How do you screen a candidate for a critical facilities role when you aren't a technician yourself?

What they are checking: Whether they can ask enough technical questions to filter well before wasting a hiring manager's time.

How do you keep many candidates moving through the full life cycle without anyone falling through the cracks?

What they are checking: Whether they have a tracking system and communication rhythm that holds up at high volume.

How do you use market data when you advise a client on pay for hard-to-fill trades?

What they are checking: Whether they act as an advisor with real market knowledge instead of only filling orders.
