Tell me about a time you had to influence someone more senior than you.

What would you do

A key stakeholder keeps missing deadlines on their part of the project. What do you do?

How would you measure whether a strategic initiative delivered its intended value?

What they are checking: Whether they define success up front and follow through on benefits after the project closes.

How do you handle several initiatives competing for the same people?

About the work

How do you report project status to senior leaders so they get what they need quickly?

What project management tools and methods do you use, and how do you pick between them?

What they are checking: Whether they adapt their approach to the project instead of forcing one method on everything.

How do you manage risks before they turn into problems?

What they are checking: Whether they identify and plan for risks early rather than reacting after damage is done.
