Tell me about a time a patient didn't follow through on their home program. What did you do?

What they are checking: Whether they can recommend safety changes respectfully when patients may resist changes to their own home.

This role is homecare. Walk me through your first visit with a patient just discharged home after a hip fracture.
What they are checking: Whether they can assess function, safety and the home itself in a single visit without hospital resources.
You'll supervise COTA staff. How would you make sure care is consistent when you're not seeing the patient every visit?

How do you set goals that matter to a patient who mainly wants to stay in their own home?
