About your past

Tell me about a customer escalation you handled where the sonographers or cardiologists were frustrated. How did it end?

What they are checking: Whether they can calm a clinical team, find the real issue and restore trust in the system.

Tell me about a time you had to learn a competitor's system well enough to explain the differences fairly.

What they are checking: Whether they compare competitors honestly, since exaggeration costs credibility with clinicians.

What would you do

Walk me through how you'd run a competitive cardiac ultrasound demonstration against a system the site already likes.

What they are checking: Whether they can show real clinical advantages on the scanner, not just talk about features.

A customer site has had the system for months but isn't using its advanced features. How would you drive adoption?

What they are checking: Whether they understand that adoption depends on workflow and confidence, not just one training session.

How do you work with a sales rep during a strategic deal without making the demo feel like a sales pitch?

What they are checking: Whether they keep clinical credibility while still supporting the commercial goal.

This role involves extensive travel across the US and Canada. How do you stay effective and organized on the road?

What they are checking: Whether they have realistic habits for heavy travel without losing quality or follow-up.

During an installation, a cardiologist asks for a measurement package to work a way the system doesn't support. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they are honest about limits, offer workarounds and feed requests back to the product team.

About the work

Explain an advanced cardiovascular application, like strain imaging or 3D/4D echo, the way you'd teach it to an experienced sonographer.

What they are checking: Whether their clinical depth is strong enough to be the go-to expert for the whole US and Canada team.

What's your clinical background in echo or vascular imaging, and what credentials do you hold?

What they are checking: Whether they have the hands-on scanning experience and registry credentials the clinical audience will expect.

You'll help build internal clinical education programs. How would you design training for regional application specialists who are newer to cardiac?

What they are checking: Whether they can teach teachers and scale their knowledge across a large organization.
