Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Summary: Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions. We’re Looking For: • High School Diploma or GED required.  • Must have an accredited medical assistant diploma or 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience within the past five years. • Phlebotomy skills are preferred. What You’ll Do: Schedule:   Monday – Friday, full time, 1st shift.   No weekends No Holidays.  As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.  As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will: • Welcome patients and support their transition into care. • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings. • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures. • Administer medications and vaccines as directed. • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing. • Document care accurately in the electronic health record. • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. About This Location: The Aurora Pulmonary Services clinic is in Milwaukee, WI within the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center campus at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave. in the 2nd floor Galleria. The clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating complex lung diseases, respiratory conditions, and a wide array of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy Your feedback matters. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions • Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday. • Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance.  For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available. • Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis. • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.  • Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids.  Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
