No weekend or holiday requirement. Schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, subject to change with clinic needs. Clinic is a high-volume oncology clinic with a focus on blood cancer and bone marrow transplant/cellular therapy. Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Summary: Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions. We’re Looking For: • High School Diploma or GED required.  • No experience is required. • Must have diploma from accredited medical assistant program or 2 years of medical assistant experience to qualify. • Phlebotomy skills are preferred. What You’ll Do: Schedule: Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, between 8am- 5pm- no weekends or holidays.  This is a 32 hour per week position. Schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, subject to change to meet clinic needs. As a Medical Assistant , you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.  As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will: • Welcome patients and support their transition into care. • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings. • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures. • Administer medications and vaccines as directed. • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing. • Document care accurately in the electronic health record. • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions • Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday. • Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance.  For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available. • Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis. • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.  • Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids.  Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. ​ Ready to Take the Next Step:  Apply Now!
