Clinic Hours Monday/Thursday, 8am-7:30pm Tuesday/Wednesday, 7:30am-7:30pm Friday, 730:am-5:00pm Saturday 8am-12:30pm (one per month) MA shift requires: 1 weekday late night shift per week 1 half day Saturday per month 40-hour work week. Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 Job Description Summary:   Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Joining AMG means being part of a collaborative, patient-focused environment where innovation and quality care thrive.  We’re Looking For:   • High School Diploma or GED required.    • Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.   • Confident working with both children and adults preferred.  What You’ll Do:   Clinic hours: • Monday/Thursday, 8am-7:30pm • Tuesday/Wednesday: 730am- 730pm • Fridays: 730am-5pm   • One weekday late night shift per week required • Saturday 8am-12:30pm (1 half day Sat. per month required) As a  Medical Assistant , you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.    As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:   • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.   • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.   • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.   • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.   • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.   • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.   • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.  About This Location:   Chicago, IL - 6434 W North Ave Your feedback matters.  Every teammate’s voice is vital in shaping our culture and improving care. We value your insights and experiences because they help us grow stronger together.  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions   • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.   • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.   • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.   • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.   • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.   • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.   • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease.
