What would you do

You'd manage project managers and still deliver projects yourself. How would you split your time?

What they are checking: Whether they have a realistic plan for being a player-coach without neglecting either side.

A vendor is missing milestones on a critical project. What do you do?

What they are checking: Whether they hold vendors accountable using contracts and data rather than just complaining.

How do you lead a change that affects how many people work, like a new infrastructure platform?

About the work

What they are checking: Whether they can make and defend prioritization decisions with leadership.

What does good project governance look like to you without slowing teams down?

What they are checking: Whether they right-size process so it adds value instead of paperwork.

How do you spot that a project is in trouble before the status turns red?

What they are checking: Whether they read early warning signs like slipping dependencies rather than trusting green reports.

How do you track whether a finished project actually delivered the outcomes it promised?

What they are checking: Whether they care about realized benefits, not only on-time delivery.
