How do you decide when an exam needs additional views before the patient leaves?

clinical judgment about image adequacy and confidence making that call independently

familiarity with real QC protocols and whether they follow through on documentation, not just awareness of the rules

practical troubleshooting skill and whether they know when to escalate versus retake

Tell me about a day when the schedule was packed with emergencies and add-on patients. How did you keep things moving without cutting corners?

time management and prioritization under pressure without sacrificing image quality or safety

How do you take a patient's history for the radiologist, and what do you do if the story they tell you doesn't match what's on the order?

attention to detail and willingness to flag discrepancies rather than just filling in a form

Tell me about a time equipment malfunctioned mid-exam. What did you do in that moment, and how did you handle the patient while you dealt with it?

composure and correct escalation process, plus patient care under an unplanned disruption
