Tell me about a team project where something went wrong late. How did you respond?

You're asked to help with a project quote, but you don't know how long the work will take. How do you estimate it?

How would you choose between a pneumatic cylinder and an electric actuator for a motion on a machine?

What they are checking: Whether they can reason about common machine design tradeoffs like force, speed and cost.

What programming or PLC experience do you have, even from school projects?

What they are checking: Whether they have a starting point in controls they can grow from.

How do you stay safe when you're working on or around machine wiring?
