Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

Tell me about the casualty claims experience you'd bring into the classroom. What kinds of injury files have you handled?

What they are checking: Whether they have real casualty credibility, because experienced adjusters tune out trainers who have never worked a file.

Tell me about a time you facilitated a session that wasn't landing. What did you change in the moment?

What they are checking: Whether they read the room and adjust on the fly instead of pushing through a plan that isn't working.

How do you work with subject matter experts who know the content but aren't great at explaining it?

What they are checking: Whether they can pull expertise out of busy people and translate it into something learners can follow.

What would you do

How would you teach negotiation strategy to newer adjusters so it sticks once they're back on the phones?

What they are checking: Whether they use role-play, feedback and realistic scenarios rather than lecture, so the skill transfers to real calls.

A claims leader wants a two-hour class built in a week. How do you handle that request?

What they are checking: Whether they can push back respectfully on scope and timing while still finding a way to help the business.

How would you coach an adjuster who keeps scoring low on evaluation accuracy after training?

What they are checking: Whether they give specific, respectful feedback and look for the real gap rather than repeating the same class.

About the work

How would you design a learning activity that actually improves how an adjuster evaluates a bodily injury claim?

What they are checking: Whether they build practice around real judgment calls instead of slides that only explain the rules.

What's your process for turning a business problem, like inconsistent evaluations, into a training solution?

What they are checking: Whether they diagnose the root cause first and know that some performance gaps are not training problems at all.

How do you measure whether a course moved anything in quality, cycle time or customer satisfaction?

What they are checking: Whether they connect learning to business results and can explain how they'd separate training impact from other factors.

What design models or tools do you use, and how do you decide when an e-learning module beats live instruction?

What they are checking: Whether they pick formats based on the skill being built and the audience, not habit or what's easiest to produce.
