What do you want to be able to do by the end of this internship, and where would you most need help?
What they are checking: Whether they have a concrete learning goal and feel comfortable asking for help, which shapes how much an intern gains.
What would you do
A user reports something isn't working. Walk me through how you'd narrow down the cause.
What they are checking: Whether they can ask a user good questions and narrow a problem down step by step, rather than guessing.
How do you know when a problem is beyond you and needs escalating?
What they are checking: Whether they recognize their own limits and escalate at the right time, which the posting names as part of the job.

What they are checking: Whether the summer 2027 dates, hourly pay and Lincolnshire location genuinely fit their plans before they accept the offer.
About the work

What they are checking: Whether they researched the function or just the job title
You'd help identify and correct data issues. How would you find bad data in a system you don't know yet?
What they are checking: Whether they would actively look for bad data in an unfamiliar system, rather than waiting for someone to report a problem.
You'd support system testing, upgrades and improvement projects. How do you test a change before real users see it?
What they are checking: Whether they test changes carefully before users see them, because system errors can disrupt orders, inventory and work across the company.
You'd create and update procedures, work instructions and training materials. What makes a work instruction someone actually follows?
What they are checking: Whether they write clear, step-by-step instructions people actually follow, since documentation nobody uses helps nobody.
The posting names basic knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with previous exposure to a system like SAP a plus. Where are you with each?
What they are checking: Whether they honestly know where they stand with Office tools and SAP exposure, since both are named requirements for this internship.
