Tell me about a time you supported a senior colleague and had to take ownership of something they would normally handle.
What they are checking: Whether they can step up as a reliable backup and keep issues from falling through the cracks.

About the work
A corporate client has a floating-rate term loan and is worried about rates rising. Walk me through how you'd structure an interest rate swap to hedge that.
What they are checking: Whether they understand the client's actual exposure and can match a hedge to it, not just define a swap.
What's the difference between a swap, a cap and a collar, and when would a client choose a cap even though it costs an upfront premium?
What they are checking: Whether they can weigh hedging products against a client's budget, risk appetite and accounting concerns.
How do you put together market commentary for a client presentation, and where do you get your rates views?
What they are checking: Whether they follow the rates market closely enough to say something useful rather than repeat headlines.
How does a move in the yield curve affect the indicative pricing you'd show a client on a five-year swap?
What they are checking: Whether they connect curve shape and credit charges to the number a client actually sees.
What is DV01, and why would a sales team care about it when talking to a client?
What they are checking: Whether they grasp basic risk measures well enough to discuss hedge sizing and sensitivity with clients.
