About your past

Tell me about a Lean project you led. What was the result and how did you measure it?

What they are checking: Whether they deliver measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery or cost, not just run events.

Tell me about a time you coached a frontline team to solve a problem themselves.

How do you work with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain when an issue crosses all three?

What they are checking: Whether they lead cross-functional work without authority and keep everyone focused on the root cause.

What would you do

Supervisors see CI as extra work on top of production. How would you change that?

What they are checking: Whether they can build a CI culture by making improvement part of daily work rather than an add-on.

An improvement you made isn't sticking and the old way is creeping back. What do you do?

How do you make sure safety improvements get the same attention as cost savings?

About the work

How would you build a multi-year continuous improvement plan for the Green Bay site from the business priorities?

Which problem-solving methods do you use, and how do you pick the right one for a problem?

What they are checking: Whether they know tools like A3, 5 Whys and DMAIC well enough to apply them sensibly.

How would you reduce inventory in a manufacturing area without hurting delivery?

What they are checking: Whether they understand flow, pull systems and the trade-offs between inventory and service.

How do you use data to choose which improvement to work on first?

What they are checking: Whether they prioritize based on impact and evidence, not on what's most visible or loudest.
