Walk me through how you led people who didn't report to you to deliver something hard.

What they are checking: Whether they can influence without authority, which the posting names as essential.

Tell me about an enterprise-wide change you led. How did you get people to actually change how they work?

Tell me about a time you challenged an assumption that everyone else accepted. What happened?

What they are checking: Whether they have the courage and skill to challenge assumptions, which the posting asks for.

What would you do

Two senior leaders want different outcomes from the same initiative. How do you handle it?

What they are checking: Whether they can surface the conflict and help leaders decide rather than trying to please both.

Halfway through your project, requirements shift and the original plan no longer makes sense. What do you do?

A project team member keeps missing commitments and it's slowing everyone down. How do you handle it?

About the work

How do you build a project charter when the stakeholders don't yet agree on what the problem is?

What they are checking: Whether they can facilitate agreement on scope and goals before jumping into solutions.

What continuous improvement methods do you rely on, like Lean or Six Sigma, and when do they not fit the problem?

What they are checking: Whether they choose methods by the problem instead of forcing every project into one toolkit.

How do you communicate project status to executives so they get what they need in two minutes?

What they are checking: Whether they can give leaders a clear, honest summary focused on decisions and risks.

How do you decide whether a CI initiative actually delivered value after it's done?

What they are checking: Whether they define and measure outcomes rather than calling a project done when tasks are finished.
