The ideal candidate combines strong CAD design capabilities with GIS knowledge, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, permitting, development, and project management teams. While prior experience in a specific energy technology (e.g. thermal, wind, solar) is not required, candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn new technical disciplines. Candidates that have strong interdisciplinary skills to work with team members outside of the engineering disciplines and understand related fields (e.g., GIS, permitting, and development) and project lifecycles (e.g., construction and operations & maintenance (O&M)) are encouraged to apply. This position works on-site at Invenergy’s office in downtown Chicago, IL.
