How do you document your work on a work order so the next person understands what was done?

About the work

Walk me through how you inspect a wrecked tractor and build a cost estimate for the repair.

What welding have you done on aluminum versus steel, and how do you change your approach between them?

What they are checking: Whether they truly know the differences in heat, prep and filler, since the posting calls these the hardest repairs.

How do you get a paint match right on a tractor hood or cab panel?

What they are checking: Whether they understand prep, color matching and finish quality rather than just spraying paint.

What do you do to make sure a repair stays within warranty guidelines?

What they are checking: Whether they know that skipped steps or wrong parts can void warranty and cost the company money.
