How does diligence differ for an option agreement or venture investment compared with a full acquisition?

How do you weigh exclusivity runway, including regulatory exclusivities, when assessing an asset's value?

What they are checking: Whether they combine patent life with regulatory exclusivity to judge an asset's true protected runway, which drives its value.

What IP risks do you see in licensing assets from academic institutions?
