You're building a regional FRM team ahead of future launches. How would you decide who to hire and what to look for?

Tell me about a time you had to manage someone's performance down a formal path. How did you handle it?

What they are checking: Whether they have actually made tough people decisions instead of only describing coaching conversations.

How do you keep FRMs in Los Angeles and Dallas working as one team when they rarely see each other?

Tell me about a time you worked with a hub or vendor partner that wasn't performing. What did you do?

What would you do

How do you coach an experienced FRM whose field activity looks fine but whose accounts keep having access problems?

One of your FRMs used a resource that Compliance had not approved. Walk me through how you'd respond.

Sales leadership wants FRMs to prioritize certain accounts for revenue reasons. How do you respond?

How would you onboard a new FRM so they're ready to handle their territory on their own?

What they are checking: Whether they have a practical plan for territory readiness, not just a list of trainings to complete.

About the work

How would you translate a portfolio access strategy into what your FRMs should do differently next quarter?

What they are checking: Whether they can turn high-level strategy into specific field priorities and account plans.

What's your understanding of how buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy and hub services interact in oncology access?

What they are checking: Whether they have enough technical depth to coach FRMs and spot when field guidance is wrong.

What data would you look at to know if your team is improving patient access, not just staying busy?

What they are checking: Whether they can measure real outcomes like time to therapy and resolved barriers rather than call counts.
