Likely interview questions for this role

Written from this job description, not a generic list. Each one notes what the interviewer is really checking.

About your past

The posting talks about seeking to disprove assumptions through experimentation. Tell me about a time you tried to break your own idea. What happened?

What they are checking: Intellectual honesty, which the posting words unusually directly.

Tell me about training you delivered on a technology people were nervous about. How did you handle the fear in the room?

What they are checking: Training on a topic where the audience may worry about their own jobs.

This is a Chicago consulting seat, and Crowe also posts a Winter 2027 artificial intelligence internship, so the practice is clearly growing. What do you want to know about the maturity of this team and the clients you would be put in front of?

What they are checking: Whether they check how established the practice is before joining it.

What would you do

A client says they want to use generative artificial intelligence but cannot say for what. Walk me through how you get them to a short list of real use cases.

What they are checking: The use case identification work this posting puts at the center.

You are the link between the client and the technical team. What goes wrong most often at that handoff, and how do you prevent it?

What they are checking: The liaison duty this posting names, judged by known failure modes.

Estimating effort on early-stage artificial intelligence work is hard. How do you give a client a number you can stand behind?

What they are checking: Honest estimation in a genuinely uncertain area.

About the work

How do you judge whether an artificial intelligence use case is actually feasible before anyone builds anything?

What they are checking: Feasibility screening, which protects the client from a doomed project.

Walk me through what a good lightweight proof of concept includes and, just as importantly, what it leaves out.

What they are checking: Scoping a proof of concept so it answers the question and nothing more.

How do you write requirements for something whose output is not the same every time?

What they are checking: Requirements practice against a non-deterministic system.

The posting emphasizes the Microsoft ecosystem specifically. What have you built or used there, and how do you keep current in a field that moves this fast?

What they are checking: Concrete platform grounding plus a real learning habit.
